With the Shadow Kill Pot it is easy to achieve the well-known "machine-gun" sound effect, for which usually a toggle- or an extra installed mini-switch had to be struggled (and in most cases sooner than later was badly damaged by this).With the Kill Pot the signal will be "killed (muted)" if you push the knob down, and since this can be done very easily, you will have a seriously improved "timing control" compared to the toggle-switch method. The Kill Pot can be installed very easily in every common electric guitar, and can replace a volume control as well as a tone pot. 16mm mounting bushing; M7 x 0,75 thread. Easy-to-understand-instructions are included (English, Spanish and French). 500kohm, audio taper.

Mit dem Shadow Kill Pot kann man ganz easy diesen "Stutter(Maschinengewehr)"- Effekt erzeugen, für den man normalerweise den Toggle-Switch oder andere extra dafür eingebaute Schalter malträtieren muss. Das Signal wird hier einfach per Knopfdruck unterdrückt, wobei man aufgrund des kurzes Hubweges eine, im Vergleich zum Schalter, deutlich höhere rhythmische Kontrolle hat. Außerdem rastet das Kill Pot im voll aufgedrehten Zustand ein, um ein versehentliches Verstellen des Potis beim ständigen draufdrücken zu verhindern. Der Einbau des Potis lässt sich ohne größere Schwierigkeiten in jede gängige E-Gitarre vornehmen, wobei das Kill Pot wahlweise ein Lautstärke- oder Tonpotentiometer ersetzt. Einbaumaße: 16 mm Gewindehöhe mit M7 x 0,75 Gewinde. Leicht verständliche Einbauanleitung liegt bei. 500kOhm, logarithmisch.
