Description
Hot version of the P-Rails model. Good for bridge position. This is a 3-in-1-pickup. The P-Rails is a full-size humbucker that splits to a full-size P-90 as well as to a Alnico-powered rail pickup which delivers a authentic vintage single coil sound. P-Rails are available in both neck and bridge-calibrated positions.A single two-way switch (push-pull or mini-toggle) allows the player to switch between both full-size humbucker and P-90 sounds. For all three options you need a three-way switch (DPDT on-off-on). And, when both the neck and bridge rails are used together, the tone is reminiscent of the "2" and "4" sounds on a Strat's five-way pickup selector switch.

Heiße Variante des Standard P-Rails, die vorzugsweise an der Bridge positioniert wird. Bei den Duncan P-Rails handelt es sich um normal große Humbucker, die einerseits zu einem Full Size P-90 und andererseits zu einem Singlecoil-Rail-Pickup gesplittet werden können. Letzterer liefert nicht zuletzt dank seines Alnico-Magneten einen vintagemäßigen Singlecoilsound. Der P-Rails passt in jede normale Humbucker-Fräsung.
Wer nur Humbucker- und P-90-Sounds braucht, kommt pro Pickup mit einem Zwei-Wege-Mini-Schalter (Push-Pull oder Mini-Toggle) aus. Wer Humbucker, P-90 und die zusätzliche Option des ST-mäßigen Singlecoils möchte, braucht pro Tonabnehmer einen Dreiwege-Schalter (An/Aus/An).
