Description
Featherweight and as if made from one piece! The base of the Vario Clamp Bridge is made of aluminum alloy, and the saddles are made of stainless steel. They are fixed and tightened by fine steel plates and screws. This means that there are no more moving parts (Sustain!). To adjust the octave positions of the saddles, loosen the locking screws and move them to the optimal position. Furthermore, the string spacing of the bridge is 53mm - 1mm more than common Tunamatics. To make the bridge compatible for all conventional Tunamatics, one of the two 4mm holes for the height adjustment is designed as a slotted hole underneath. This makes it suitable for stud spacings from 72.3 to 74.5mm.

Federleicht und wie aus einem Stück gefertigt! Die Basis der Vario Clamp Bridge besteht aus einer speziellen Aluminiumlegierung und die Böckchen aus gehärtetem Edelstahl. Sie sitzen in Führungen und werden von oben mittels feiner Federstahl-Blättchen und Schrauben fixiert und angepresst. Dadurch gibt es keine beweglichen Teile mehr und die Brücke ist quasi wie aus einem Stück (Sustain!). Um die Oktavpositionen der Böckchen zu justieren, löst man die Feststellschrauben und schiebt sie in die jeweilige optimale Position. Desweiteren beträgt der Saitenabstand der Bridge 53mm - also 1mm mehr als bei herkömmlichen Tunamatics. Um die Bridge für alle herkömmlichen Tunamatics kompatibel zu machen, ist eine der beiden 4mm-Bohrungen für die Höhenverstellung von der Unterseite als Langloch ausgeführt. Dadurch ist sie für Bolzenabstände von 72,3 bis 74,5mm geeignet.
Rändelmuttern, metrische M4-Gewindebolzen und M4-Gewindehälsen sind im Lieferumfang enthalten.
