Description
With common killswitches, the signal is killed when the switch is pressed. Some people would much rather have it the other way around, a "reverse kill switch", so to speak! The CHOPPERPOT can do it both ways - and much more!
The CHOPPERPOT can be used as volume or tone pot. Generally it works like a common push/push pot but the CHOPPERPOT's switch is a momentary switch. In order to prevent too loud noise when actuated and to make it feel nice and smooth, a rubber ring is mounted on the axle. Incl. extra printed soldering board and wiring instructions.

Bei normalen Killswitches wird das Signal beim Druck auf den Schalter unterbrochen (gekillt). Dabei fänden es einige viel logischer, wenn das Signal auf Knopfdruck "da" wäre. Wenn der Killswitch also umgekehrt (reverse) funktionieren würde. Das CHOPPERPOT kann beides - und noch viel mehr!
Das CHOPPERPOT Poti kann je nach Bedarf als Volume- oder ein Tone-Poti eingesetzt werden. Es entspricht in der Bauweise grundsätzlich einem PushPush-Poti, jedoch rastet es nicht ein. Damit es beim Betätigen nicht allzu laut klackert und sich außerdem schön smooth anfühlt, ist ein Gummiring auf der Achse montiert. Inkl. zusätzlicher Lötplatine und ausführlicher Anleitung für diverse Schaltvarianten.
